Error 0xC004C008 means that the entered product key cannot be activated online. The key may still be valid, but it requires phone activation. The correct solution depends on the type of product key you purchased.

What does error 0xC004C008 mean?
Windows displays this error when the product key cannot be activated directly over the internet. The key is not necessarily invalid – it may simply require a different activation method.
If you purchased the lower-cost option with GetCID activation, this is expected behavior. Activation uses the phone activation method together with our GetCID tool, so you do not need to call Microsoft yourself.
